…performing arts presentation, we occasionally have to deal with a change in a scheduled show – as is the case with the Jennifer Coolidge appearance originally set for this coming Friday, October 22nd. Ms. Coolidge – best known for her roles in films like American Pie, Legally Blonde, and Best In Show – is scheduled to open on Broadway next month, co-starring with Brendan Fraser and Tony winner Dennis O’Hare in a new play called “Elling”.
Last minute conflicts related to that production will keep her from making her “run-out” date at Hammons Hall…but we are working to re-schedule her performance for sometime next spring, after the play closes. If you have already purchased your tickets for Friday night’s show, our box office staff will be contacting you. You can certainly hang on to those tix and use them for admission to the re-scheduled performance, or you will be able to get a refund.
It’s always regrettable that plans have to be changed when this kind of a situation occurs…it’s a part of show biz, of course…and when Jennifer Coolidge takes the stage next spring, she’ll have whole bunch of new stories to tell about her Broadway run!
