Next February, Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan will be in recital at Juanita K. Hammons Hall as a part of our Don Wessel Emerging Concert Artists series. Already honored in a number of international competitions, including First Prize in the 2008 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, the 22-year-old musician has now captured the First Prize and Gold Medal in the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Mr. Hakynazaryan was also awarded the prize for Best Chamber Concerto Performance.  Tickets for his Hall performance will be on sale later this summer – keep watching this website for further details.
