Dr. Albert Barreda, assistant professor of hospitality and restaurant administration, presented his research in Chile at the 9th Iberoamerican Academy of Management Conference December 3-5. The theme of this year’s conference was “From Developing to Developed Economies: The Future of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Iberoamerica”. Barreda presented an empirical study investigating the impact of knowledge sharing and knowledge management on innovation capacity.
The 2015 Iberoamerican Academy of Management Conference aims to facilitate dialog amongst academics and practitioners regarding the potential future of entrepreneurship innovation. The conference offered four special tracks related to the central theme “The Future of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Iberoamerica” and eight additional tracks from management topics.
