The HAWC is here!

September 23, 2019 by Michel Bampoe

What is HAWC?

You want to get healthy? And you need an extra push? Now you have access to a personalized guide to your health improvement.

Mercy HAWC is the Health and Wellness Connection, located inside the Hammons Heart Institute at Mercy. Previously only available to Mercy employees and dependents, HAWC is now being offered to MSU benefits-covered employees and covered dependents (age 18 and older).

HAWC is completely free to university employees.

This includes:

  • Functional movement training sessions with coach supervision
  • 24/7 access to the facility
  • Spiritual and financial wellness resources
  • Nutrition resources

Get started

To begin taking advantage of HAWC, you will need one appointment:

  1. A biometric screening, blood work and functional movement assessment

How it’s different

Unlike most fitness centers, the HAWC is focused on your individualized needs for overall health and wellness. Your health and wellness plan will be built based on your goals and functional movement assessment.

All appointments, classes and training sessions must be booked in advance.
