MSU is committed to ending the stigma associated with mental health.
This national observance month is held to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives.
We are proud to offer two employee assistance programs (EAP), which are free, confidential services designed to help you and your immediate family members with a wide range of services. Employee assistance is available to both full time and part time employees, and do not require enrollment in the health plan. Additionally, the Mercy EAP hosts webinars monthly over various topics and provides online resources and tools. The EAP program(s) are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Acute and continued treatment is covered by both the base and buy-up medical plan options. You may visit any provider you choose; however, benefit levels differ. Magers Health and Wellness center provides mental health services, available right here on campus. Employees enrolled in the health plan who have services completed at Magers, will have applicable deductibles waived (co-pays still apply). Health plan enrolled employees may also find additional participating providers using Mercy’s provider directory.
Enrollment/changes can be made to the health plan, yearly during open enrollment (November 1- Dec 1.), or within 30 days of a qualifying event.
