A chronicle of Missouri State immersion service trips

NOLA day four

March 10, 2016 by Jordan Shalla

Working on the house this past week has been very exciting! We started with the foundation and ended up piecing together sheets of plywood to construct the floor. I’ve had some practice with building before but this weeks service has really strengthened some of my skills, which is really encouraging. I think most importantly I’ve really bonded with my colleagues and have also met a lot of students from different universities. I’m really thrilled that I got to go on this immersion trip and am excited to take all of its experiences home with me.
