State championships to be held at MSU in April
Missouri State will also host the MSHSAA Speech, Debate and Theatre Championships April 24-25, an honor traditionally held by the University of Missouri in Columbia. Last year, MSHSAA announced MSU and its College of Arts and Letters would break Mizzou’s 63-year streak as host, bringing about 900 participants from more than 120 schools to campus in the years 2015 through 2019. The Speech, Debate and Theatre Championships include 15 events: three debate categories, two theatrical events and 10 individual events.
