Make a Plan for 2017
All employees are encouraged to go through the open enrollment process to select, decline and review the benefits that we offer at Missouri State.
You should also complete the Health Risk Appraisal now. If you complete the HRA, avoid tobacco usage (or make a plan to quit), and complete an additional qualifying activity, then you will be eligible to receive a $30/month health insurance premium reduction.
Your benefits
You might be surprised by what we offer for you and your dependents:
- Medical Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Vision Insurance (New Carrier)
- Supplemental Life Insurance
- Group Universal Life Insurance
- Critical Illness Insurance
- Accident Insurance
Since Basic Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Long Term Disability are 100 percent paid for by the university, they will not require action on your part.
It’s important to do it NOW – the deadline is 11:59 pm on Dec. 1. Once elections or changes have been made, no changes can be made during the year unless they are due to a qualifying/life changing event, e.g. marriage, divorce, birth, etc.
Enrollment will be online using our Online Benefits Platform. Visit the open enrollment page to begin.
Your elections/changes will be effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Contact the Office of Human Resources at 417-836-6616 if you have any questions.
