Tara Benson, associate director of the PSU and director of student engagement, was recently recognized by the Association of College Unions International.

Benson was the 2018 recipient of the ACUI Values Award.

To be considered for an award, candidates must show their commitment to student activities and the college, as well as volunteer service.

For Benson’s award, she had to show ACUI’s values like learning, innovation, commitment, unconditional human worth, joy and diversity.
