Jessica Bendure, Kimmy Walker and Dr. Daniela Novotny were recently recognized by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) for their work with Missouri State University students.

Bendure, professional education advisor, was awarded Certificate of Merit of the Outstanding Advising Award – Primary Advising Role.

Walker, academic advisor in the Academic Advisement Center, has been awarded Winner of the Outstanding New Advisor Award – Primary Advising Role.

Novotny, instructor in the biomedical sciences department, was awarded the Certificate of Merit in the Faculty Advising category.

According to the NACADA website, the organization promotes the development of students through effective advising programs and personal attention.
