Juan Meraz, assistant vice president of the Division for Diversity and Inclusion, participated in the Hispanic Promise Summit. The summit took take place at the United Nations complex in New York City on Dec. 9-10.
The Hispanic Promise Summit was an inspiring, interactive and engaging environment for the 300 participants selected nationwide. Missouri State University was selected as the inaugural institution of higher learning because of its inclusive workforce environment and commitment to inclusion.
“This is an incredible honor to be selected to participate in such a prestigious event. I am humbled and honored to represent and sign the Hispanic Promise on behalf of Missouri State University,” stated Juan Meraz.
