Dr. Kyler Sherman-Wilkins, assistant professor of sociology and anthropology, and David Johnson, academic advisor and retention specialist in the McQueary College of Health and Human Services, have been awarded Certificates of Merit of the Outstanding Advising Awards.
The awards come from NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.
Sherman-Wilkins received the award in Faculty Academic Advising, while Johnson received that of the Academic-Advising Primary Role.
