Four MSU programs ranked as number one according to Intelligent.com.

Intelligent.com recognized 59 of Missouri State University’s degree programs among the best in the U.S. in 2022.  

The site highlights Missouri State for offering flexible distance learning that appeals to busy adults and hybrid models that include on-campus and online formats. 

About the ranking

Four MSU programs ranked as number one in the U.S.:  

  • Master’s in Criminal Justice. 
  • Master’s in Project Management.  
  • Online Finance. 
  • Online Master’s in Project Management. 

Fifty-five other programs at MSU ranked in the top 68 on their respective lists.

How the ranking is determined

To determine the ranking, Intelligent.com ranks each program on a scale from 0 to 100 across five categories.  

The criteria for this ranking include: 

  • Program strength. 
  • Student readiness. 
  • Return on investment. 
  • Cost. 
  • Student engagement. 

Researchers involved in the site’s ranking process compared 704 programs from 2,900 universities and colleges across the U.S.
