The 2022 Curtis P. Lawrence Excellence in Advising Award recipients are Katie Sholley and Dr. Carol J. Maples.

About the recipients

Each spring, this award goes to two recipients who display outstanding service to Missouri State students. It is given to one staff advisor and one faculty advisor annually.

Sholley serves as an academic advisor in the College of Education Advisement Center.

Maples is a professor and coordinator of the BSEd Speech and Theatre Education program.

They will both be recognized for this accomplishment at the Master Advisor Reception to be held 4-5 p.m. March 24 in the Davis-Harrington Welcome Center.
