You’re invited to join Dr. Scott Zimmerman, chair of the Missouri State University Faculty Senate, at noon Sept. 18 on the steps of Carrington Hall for the third prize drawing of the 2024 United Way campaign.
Prizes include:
- A Coffee Ethic $20 gift card, MSU sunglasses, MSU plastic drink cup, MSU tote bag and MSU mouse pad donated by the Coffee Ethic, MSU athletics department and MSU Bookstore.
- MSU sunglasses, selfie light, MSU tote bag, MSU fanny pack and MSU lawn blanket donated by the athletics department.
- An MSU custom charcuterie board and MSU Graduate College long-sleeved T-shirt donated by the College of Business and Graduate College.

As of this week, $46,000 has been pledged through payroll deduction from ongoing donors.
Last week’s prizes were drawn by Rachel Anderson, vice chair of the United Way of the Ozarks board. Our generous donors included the College of Business, Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Graduate College, MSU Bookstore and athletics.
Winners include:
- Keri Franklin, professor and director of Ozarks Writing Project, who received a fanny pack, shaker cup, sunglasses, MSU plastic drink cup, MSU lawn blanket and selfie light.
- Susan Veach, payroll, financial services, who received an MSU towel, MSU water bottle, sunglasses and MSU plastic drink cup.
- Byron Stewart, retired, who received a custom MSU pizza board and two tickets to Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
