The Office of International Services will be closed December 21 – January 3 for winter break. All university offices will be closed at that time. Staff will be back in the office on Thursday, January 4 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

For new Missouri State international students

We encourage new international students to make travel arrangements to arrive between January 4-10, 2018. We will be available the most possible resources available during this time frame. 

If you arrive prior to January 4, please be aware that the university will be closed from December 21 – January 3. Many off-campus businesses will also be closed for winter holidays during this time, including many housing options. We can still provide airport pick-up if you request it ahead of time using the Airport Pick-Up Request form.

All new international students who wish to receive free transportation from the airport to temporary or permanent housing should fill out the Airport Pick-Up Request form.

If you need to contact someone at the university when you arrive at the Springfield-Branson National Airport, you may call the Office of Safety and Transportation at 417-836-5509. They will put you in contact with someone from International Services.
