Each year, Missouri international education professionals gather for the annual Missouri International Educators Meeting (MIEM). The meeting serves as space for individuals to gain high-quality professional development and networking opportunities.
Pre-meeting workshops
NAFSA workshops were held June 18 in the Morris Center. Participants were able to learn more about F-1 student advising, J-1 student advising, or international credential evaluation. Facilitators included NAFSA-approved trainers, who have been certified as part of the umbrella organization.
Meeting sessions
Participants enjoyed exploring Missouri State University. They were impressed with Glass Hall, where sessions were held.
In addition to a general meeting of NAFSA Region IV Missouri international educators and Study Missouri, concurrent sessions encouraged learning and sharing. Professionals from across the state presented topics ranging from Generation Z Habits to Institutional Compliance. Review the meeting program to learn more about topics presented.
