Office of China Programs, International Program Office and faculty members have made significant effort and progress in recruitment in March 2019.

Brad Bodenhausen traveled to Vietnam and Malaysia to strengthen the relationship with partner institutions, and develop potential partnerships.
Dr. Rachelle Darabi, Dr. James Satterfield, Dr. Gilbert Brown, and Peng Zhang first stopped in Xi’an for meetings with Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an International Studies University. The group then flew to Chongqing to meet with Southwest University for potential opportunities with College of Education at Southwest.
Dr. Jim Baker, Brad Bodenhausen, and Winnie Wu met with other group members at Southwest University for meeting with their university officials, College of Journalism and Communication, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, and College of Education. Brad Bodenhausen and Winnie Wu hosted a recruitment presentation to promote the training program in Summer and a reception with former program participants. Another recruitment presentation is hosted in branch campus, Dalian. The presentation focused on the application process, visa interview, arrival procedure and other important information for new coming students.
