The ELI Special Programs is honored to announce the completion of the English and Leadership Immersion Program – Winter 2020.

This amazing group of participants spent 4 weeks on the Missouri State University campus learning English, sharing their culture, knowing local and international students, and discovering the wonders that Springfield, MO has to offer.

37 participants from S. Korea, Chile, Brazil, and Peru had the opportunity to grow personally, culturally, and professionally during their stay at Missouri State. During the program, they not only had English classes, they also experienced professional networking by visiting a wide variety of companies, organizations, local businesses, and MSU departments. They also went on field trips that allowed them to practice English and interact with the local community.

First Friday ArtWalk was hosted by this exceptional group of students, who represented their countries with dances, food, and pictures. The Springfield community showed their support and appreciation with a great turnout and lots of fun.

At the ELI Special Programs office, we feel very proud to offer this wonderful program and provide international students an unforgettable experience at Missouri State University.
