Calling all English teachers! It’s time to revamp that resume and brush up on those language skills. Covid-19 may have changed the way we teach, but it hasn’t stopped us from moving forward. This fall we’re offer three fabulous workshops to assist educators in the field of teaching English. These courses are also ideal for students who have studied English as a Second Language and could use a refresher. Even if you’re not teaching, you’ll find these three workshops to be a great addition to your major.

Here at the English Language Institute our professional educators will lead short-term, online workshops that meet only a few hours a week. The classes will be interactive, synchronous, and provide you with the opportunity to meet other people in your field. An official certificate from Missouri State University will be given upon completion of one of these courses.

Which one interests you?

Workshop 1: Pronunciation for English Language Teachers

This course is ideal for anyone struggling with specific sounds or wanting to reduce their accent. It’s also a great way to help teachers assist international students with their speaking ability. Workshop 2: Analyzing Language for Teaching

The content taught is not only valuable to English language learners and instructors, but to anyone seeking a degree in language or linguistics. We hope to see you there!
