The ELI hosted a pumpkin carving event on October 30^th. This event took place during their twice-a-week Conversation Circles. These conversation circles are an opportunity for current ELI students, Missouri State students, and members of the Springfield area to come together to explore cultures, engage in interesting conversations, and make new friends! The pumpkin carving event was a great way to introduce Halloween activities that the United States participates in.
