Update: A temporary hardware fix has been applied and Production Banner services are being brought online. I anticipate this process will be complete by 12:30 PM, and will update this post when complete or if we encounter delays. Users may experience degraded system performance as services are brought online, and until a permanent hardware fix is complete.

Due to a hardware issue, Banner and systems that rely on Banner (including Self-Service Banner, Administrative Banner, and some other systems accessed through My Missouri State) are currently down. Office 365 email, Blackboard, and general internet connectivity are not affected. This post will be updated by 10 am with an update on status.
Greetings! The APEX upgrades have been completed and verified by Information Services personnel. The system became available for use before 8:00 AM.
On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the following system will be upgraded with updates / security patches and therefore will be unavailable:
- 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – APEX applications will not be available.
There will be no impact to other systems such as: Banner applications, My Missouri State, University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, CashNet, video surveillance systems, electronic door access systems, and the application for admission.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to this environment on Sunday morning.
