New certificates will be applied to the phone system Saturday morning, 10/29/22, beginning at 7:00 a.m. If your softphone or mobile app stops working, log back into the softphone application so your softphone can get the new certificate information.

Update: As of 1:30PM (10/25), there is a fix in place and the issue is now resolved.
Blackboard is currently experiencing an error when loading documents as shown below. This can impact general content in a course as well as assignment files of all types for both students and faculty. The problem is related to Blackboard’s cloud storage vendor and a fix should be in place shortly. We will update this blog post with additional information as soon as possible.
We are currently experiencing issues with outbound phone calls. The issue appears to be random, and the calls end up getting dead air instead of completing. In most cases upon a second try the call completes. ATT is actively investigating the problem. We will be performing a system reboot tonight after 9pm in an attempt to fix the issue. The reboot will take down all in and outbound calling for about 10 minutes. All on campus calling should not be affected. We will continue to monitor the issue as the day progresses.
10/28/2022 – We have put in a temporary fix and all calls should complete as normal. We continue to work with the vendors to make a more final fix for the issue.
Greetings! The Banner upgrade has been completed and verified by Information Services personnel.

On Sunday, October 23, the following systems will be upgraded and therefore unavailable:
There will be no impact to other systems such as: University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, video surveillance systems, electronic door access, and the application for admission.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to the Banner environment on Sunday.
