Leader Bear: Erin Roberts

September 8, 2017 by Olayemi Ponnle

This week’s #LeaderBear Spotlight is a recent graduate from the College of Business, with a B.S in Marketing, and is now pursuing a graduate degree in Business Administration. Meet Erin Roberts!

Erin’s top five strengths are: communication, commitment, positivity, transparency, and open-mindedness.

Erin is currently the Director of Account Services for Opal Agency, an on-campus, student-run advertising agency. Here, she get to act as the head of the account service side and maintain open communication between the agency and the client. During her undergraduate, she was President of Phi Sigma Pi at Missouri State. Phi Sigma Pi is an honor fraternity, founded on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. As president, Erin was able to oversee the growth and change of the chapter as they worked towards higher retention of members and stronger relationships between brothers.

When asked what advice she’d give younger students this was her response…

Get involved as much as you can. Whether you hold an official leadership position in an organization or you’re just a team member, everyone can be a leader on some level.
