November 10, 2017 by Olayemi Ponnle

We’re so excited about how well Centennial Leaders is going this year so we have special #LeaderBear!! Meet our new #LeaderBear Spotlight, and Centennial Leaders alum, Kasey Eberth!

Kasey is a Hospitality and Restaurant Administration major who is expecting to graduate this spring in 2018.

His top five strengths are:

1. Communication

2. Confidence

3. Outgoing

4. Strong Work ethic

5. Community Involvement

Since becoming a bear, Kasey has been involved in various organizations on campus. He is a member of Phi Sigma Pi, a National Honor Fraternity, and has served as their Philanthropy Chair, Corresponding Secretary, and is currently serving as President. He is also President of Hospitality Leaders of Tomorrow, a hospitality organization specific to hospitality majors only which encourages our members to network with each other as well as industry leaders. Kasey is a Hospitality and Restaurant Administration Student Ambassador as well.

This is what he had to say about the leadership opportunities at Missouri State

Being able to serve in all these various positions has allowed me to challenge myself to be a better leader. These organizations have also created an amazing support system for myself. Most importantly these organizations have allowed me to grow to a greater understanding who I am as a leader.

Here is some parting advice from Kasey

Get involved on campus as soon as possible. There are a lot of great opportunities for you to grow your network as well as personal interest. Companies like seeing a diverse background and leadership experience. The easiest way to do that is get involved on campus.
