Future Health Care Professionals
Tristen Patterson
Year: Sophomore
Major: Respiratory Therapy
I have always been passionate about pursuing a career in the medical field! I am excited to be on the Future Health Care Professionals LLC because I can’t wait to connect and build relationships with other students who are also taking similar paths, to learn more about other health related majors, and to offer as much help as I possibly can to my residents as they are adjusting to life on campus!
Fun fact: I live on a farm and like to go frog gigging!
Akayla Singleton
Year: Junior
Major: Cellular and Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Med.
My connection to the Future Healthcare Professional LLC is that I want to pursue a career in the medical field and love assisting people.
Fun fact: I am a pretty outgoing person. I enjoy being outside, working out, playing video games, and watching football and baseball.

What is your connection to the theme of the community (why are you excited about working with this community): I feel as though this is an opportunity for the residents to not only learn from me but teach me along the way. Having minds interested in a similar field sounds like a great time for any give and take opportunities for everyone involved on the floor.
Fun fact about you: A fun fact about me is that I have torn my ACL in the same knee three times. This is what ultimately led me into the road to setting a goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
