There’s more than meets the eye when it comes to farming! Students took a trip to Shealy Farm and learned about the systems of sustainable agriculture from Dr. Phillip Lancaster, learned how to measure grass for foraging and all about the technology used to do so from Dr. Will McCain, and went into the fields to see the cows that become MSU beef – sold at Hyvee – guided by Zach Davis.
