About 10 students from Bears for a Just Community went to the Ozarks Food Harvest Home Garden to volunteer. While at the Home Garden, students learned about how the home garden impacts the Springfield community and surrounding areas. The students spent two hours helping to harvest about 62 lbs. of food. They also picked weeds out of multiple gardens and separated compost to create usable dirt. Students learned a lot from this great experience.
