Position Title: Warehouse/Distribution/Logistics Student Trainee

Paid internship/Co-op

Academic Level: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who will not graduate prior to May 2012.

Wage: $8.50-$9.00 (plus gain share)

Job Description:

An excellent opportunity to learn the logistics/supply side in one of the area’s largest building materials companies. Students will work in Meek’s warehouse or distribution center in Springfield dealing with invoices, taking internal company orders, setting up and checking loads that are sent to the 34 Meeks retail locations throughout Missouri and NW Arkansas.

Trainees will receive .25 raises at 6 & 12 months; qualify for profit sharing if the company meets sales figures, and have the potential for full-time employment or management training after graduation.

Students will work approximately 20 hours per week during semesters and part-time or fulltime during the summer depending upon whether he or she chooses to attend summer school.
