As part of the Johnny Morris Foundation Marketing Team you’ll partner with the world-class Bass Pro Hospitality creative team based in Ridgedale, MO at Big Cedar Lodge. This role supports the Johnny Morris Foundation Conservation Attractions including the Wonder of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, and the Lost Canyon Cave Trail.
This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and upkeep of the wondersofwildlife.org, dogwoodcanyon.org, and visitozarks.org websites. In addition, this position will also be responsible for designing promotional materials, print collateral, digital advertisements, and operational material as well.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Website Development and/or Graphic Design
- Working Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads Manager
- 4+ years in website/design related field
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Analytical skills required
- Ability to perform as a strong team player at both a local and corporate level

Duties and Responsibilities:
Website
- Website management including design, content generation and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Collaborate with IT departments and third-party web and technology partners to maintain site dynamic pricing for attraction tickets and online purchases.
- Collaborate with other Foundation departments to maintain content needs on websites; education events, group sales information, etc.
- Stay educated and in-tune with new website trends in design and functionality.
- Provide regular reports of website stats/metrics to Director of Marketing and Leadership Team.
Graphic Design & Visual Content
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, working primarily in a Macintosh environment
- Bring concepts to life by creating strong visual messages with a targeted purpose.
- Thorough understanding of the production process in order to prepare final art files for print.
- Thorough understanding of print ad specs including setting up files with proper bleed, trim and live area measurements per individual publication requirements.
- Design quarterly printed/mailed membership newsletter.
- Proofread layouts for grammar and spelling accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop annual website and digital marketing plan to accompany the overall Johnny Morris Foundation Marketing Plan.
- Use cloud based operating systems to store and organize information.
- Provide superior service to our customers (both internal and external), while upholding service standards.
- Responsible for tracking and analyzing relevant metrics and data and providing regular reports to Department Director and Sr. Leadership.
- Must possess a sense of urgency and be solutions oriented and/or approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset.
- Travel to other properties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
