Job Title and Description: The Communications Strategist is adaptable and articulate. With the ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form, this position helps manage internal digital platforms creating polished content to elevate our brands. Using strategic company calendars, this position will play a big role in the day-to-day management of our internal digital platforms, content marketing, communications, retention, and recruitment. Together we will elevate brands using multi-faceted campaigns from the inside out. Expectations include sourcing content from company culture and brand standards while progressing in industry knowledge through continuous curiosity. Must be confident in the digital space, applying this knowledge to the customer service and communications space.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English or related area.
- Two to three years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proven project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments
- High degree of quality and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
- Collaborate with other members of the TES Marketing team to connect campaigns, projects, programs, and tools into communications
- Coordinate a multi-media approach to communications working closely with the social media specialist to ensure alignment of messaging on internal and external digital platforms.
- Design, develop, update, and deliver professional quality communications to both internal and external audiences
- Differentiate brand communication strategy depending on channels, resources, process and business readiness
- Support marketing strategies and company calendars by maintaining content creation and publishing momentum
- Educate internal audiences on communication best practices and brand standards
- Research, write, edit and proofread a wide range of communications including feature stories, news briefs, talking points, memos, white papers, thought leadership, etc
- Strategically utilize a variety of digital platforms to carry out communications, and marketing plans.
- Update and support marketing efforts with a focus around growing strong internal branding, compose attention grabbing and relevant posts, interact with communication liaisons and update images/content when necessary
Job Location: Joplin, MO (remote or hybrid)
Hours: 40 hrs/ week
Compensation: 42,000 annually
