Interested in becoming a graduate assistant for the Missouri State University Marketing Department? We are currently taking GA applications for the Fall 2022 semester. Please review the requirements below for more details about the position. The deadline for application is February 12, 2022.
Application requirements:

- Cover letter
- Resume
- At least two letters of recommendation
- Sample portfolio (including samples of work you would expect to do as a Graduate Assistant, examples of work done during an internship, from past employments, or examples of course work.
**All documents should all be titled with first initial followed by last name

- Current GPA
- Graduation date (undergraduate and graduate)
- Semesters available to work (e.g. Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Summer 2022)
- Are you pursuing an accelerated MBA (yes/ no)
- Undergraduate graduation date (month and year)
- Graduate graduation date (month and year)
- GMAT score (if available)
Application instructions:
- Attach the completed Graduate Assistant Application form, cover letter, resume, two letters of recommendation, and sample portfolio to an email (using PDF format).
- Title each PDF document with your first initial and last name.
- Include the following information in an email: current GPA, graduation date (undergraduate and graduate), semesters available to work (e.g. Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Summer 2022), accelerated MBA status (yes/ no), and your GMAT score (if available).

Job Description:
Graduate assistants help support the department and our faculty. Duties vary based on skillset and may include:
- Printing and processing exams/ assignments
- Proctoring seated exams
- Assisting with career fairs, recruitment events, and student panels
- Aiding faculty research studies
- Covering the front desk and answering calls and walk-ins
