This week’s Student Spotlight features an outstanding undergraduate student, Libby Jones! Libby’s major area of study is Marketing with a concentration in Marketing Research at Missouri State University.
She recently presented her marketing research titled: “Trends in Global Bridal Industry: Emergence of Online Bridal Stores and Survival of Brick-and-Mortar Stores,” at a conference organized by Association of Marketing Theory and Practice on March 24, 2022. The research was conducted alongside the help of Marketing Department Head, Dr. Ismet Anitsal, and Dr. Meral Anitsal.
Libby Jones was in Dr. Ismet Anitsal’s MKT 596 – Research Issues and Problems in Marketing class in fall 2021. According to Dr. Anitsal “She is an active learner and self-motivated undergraduate researcher. Libby proved that she was determined to complete her work in the shortest time without sacrificing its quality and rigor.”
The abstract for the article has recently been published in the AMTP conference proceedings, and the full manuscript is under review for Atlantic Marketing Journal.
