Paddio is offering three internships, as follows:
Loan Specialist Internship: Year-long internship starting at the end of May 2024 and going through May 2025. Sales, business, finance-based paid internship opportunity. Interns would be controlling the front-half of the homebuying process a.k.a preapproval. They would call borrowers, taking information consisting of income, assets, liabilities, etc. and see what they can preapprove for, or send them to credit support. Once a borrower is preapproved, the intern would then set the borrower up with a Loan Officer to continue and complete their homebuying process. This is an NMLS licensed role so the first couple of weeks will consist of training and preparation for the SAFE exam. All training/resources are compensated by Paddio and training is mapped out and facilitated by our training team. Paddio is very flexible with intern hours – they can work anywhere from 10-25 hours a week, whatever the intern prefers. Same thing with hours during the day, whenever it works for the student to be there. We facilitate this internship with the idea to bring interns on full-time after graduation if they are meeting performance requirements. Outside of the job, we offer personal development opportunities and a fantastic, casual company culture.
Full-Time Loan Specialist: Same description as the internship. Loan Specialists control the preapproval process of a home loan. The role is a base-pay + commission structure. NMLS licensed role. We are hiring for May 1st but will continue to have classes or cohorts of Loan Specialists every couple of months. This would be the role an intern would transition to after graduation if they were interested in staying within the company.
Immersion Inclusion Internship: Paid, full-time, but temporary internship for the summer (May 2024 – August 2024). Around 40 hours a week, but flexible hours are available. This internship is based in Columbia, MO and we do provide housing for those that are not local to the area. This internship would be through our sister-company Veterans United, but potential full-time positions after completion could be through VU or Paddio. The internship is designed to introduce minorities to the mortgage industry whether this is military/veterans, first-generation college students, or people of color. We have areas of opportunities in Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, and more. We have the ability to cater this internship towards the intern’s goals and desired career path, which makes for a personable and successful experience. Personal development opportunities, networking, and career development are all immersed into the program as well. (Disclaimer: We are not providing sponsorship at this time.)
