Description of Primary Duties |
The Department of Languages, Cultures, and Religions at Missouri State University is seeking applicants for a social media communications student assistant. This position will support the department’s efforts to develop and maintain effective social media platforms that promote the department and its programs. Duties include developing and producing social media content, researching current social media trends, and uploading weekly posts for department Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads accounts. This student assistant will work with faculty, staff, and students on creating active and engaging social media content related to department activities and work.

Required Qualifications |
Candidates must be a current or accepted student at Missouri
State University. Excellent spoken and written communication skills are
required, as well as exceptional organizational and time management
skills. Demonstrated experience with social media platforms, as well as
photography and videography experience are preferred.
