Position Overview: The Procurement Intern will have the opportunity to join our Procurement Team within the Accounting & Finance division for the Summer of 2025. Typical working hours during the summer are Monday-Friday during the daytime shift.
Position Description: What You Will Learn:
- The process to procure parts and services to maintain Associated’s generation facilities
- Key performance indicators and why they are important for continued success
- How procurement interacts cross functionally with every division at Associated
- How to input and manage procurement statuses for capital and operating projects in the project collaboration tool.
- Manage and communicate with suppliers on behalf of the team to reduce past due parts
- How Associated manages investment recovery and the land it owns
Required Qualifications: Who We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement or a related business field.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting the Procurement Team with tasks and projects related to the “Position Description” items.

Intern Compensation ($/hr): $16-$20 per hour depending on year in school & experience.
