The Marketing Department is thrilled to welcome four dynamic graduate assistants to our team this semester: Angela Blessy Khokhar, Ethan Scott, John Tenkorang, and Yiming Pang. Each individual will bring a fresh and unique perspective to the department, with a shared passion for excellence.

Angela Blessy Khokhar

Yiming Pang
Bachelor’s Degree: General Business, May 2024
Master’s degree: Project Management, December 2025
About
Yiming is an international student from China. With a strong interest in Marketing, she hopes to improve her teamwork, management, and communication skills while working as a graduate assistant. Additionally, she’s looking forward to establishing strong relationships with colleagues and mentors – hoping to learn and grow from their experiences.
When asked what she enjoys most about Missouri State University, Yiming stated:
“I like the academic atmosphere here, which allows me to easily discuss issues with professors and classmates without feeling nervous; classmates and professors are very friendly and enthusiastic.”
Fun fact: Yiming likes to play video games, watch Japanese animation, listen to music, play sports, and make Chinese food!
Ethan Scott

About
Ethan is excited to be able to assist professors with any of their research endeavors. With a global perspective shaped by his experiences, Ethan spent last fall semester studying in Japan! This spring break, he will expand his horizons further with a study away trip to Paris and London. His passion for marketing, combined with his love for travel and cross-cultural learning, brings a unique and worldly perspective to the team.
Sharing what he enjoys most about Missouri State University, Ethan says:
“I have enjoyed my involvement the most at Missouri State. In my fraternity and the Marketing Association.”
Fun Fact: Ethan’s favorite spot to go to in Springfield is Buc-ee’s!
John Tenkorang

John Tenkorang is excited to embrace opportunities to learn and share knowledge. With a passion for collaboration, John is committed to helping the department achieve its collective goals. Additionally, he enjoys exploring diverse cultures, particularly through their foods and languages. His enjoyment of culture, knowledge and growth will make him an outstanding addition to the marketing department.
