Position Overview: Creative Marketing Seasonal Associate

This role suits a creative, conceptual thinker who turns insights into strong, sellable ideas. You’ll connect brands with Chiefs Kingdom through Brand Marketing and Partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help develop bold, culturally relevant partnership marketing ideas, activation platforms, branded content, and campaigns for the Chiefs brand team.
  • Help brainstorm brand-led activation ideas designed to scale into partnership opportunities, as well as sales-led programs tailored to partner needs.
  • Leverage fan, consumer, and cultural insights to inform ideation and activation development.
  • Ensure all partnership marketing efforts are aligned with the Chiefs’ long-term brand strategy and fan-first priorities.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships team to support new business pitches and evolve existing partner programs with Chiefs-centric creative.
  • Leverage excellent writing skills to assist with ideation write-ups, branded content scripts and programming decks.
  • Collaborate with production, social, digital, fan engagement, and partnerships teams to bring ideas to life across channels.
  • Support the transition from concept to execution, ensuring creative ideas are realized with quality, clarity, and consistency.
  • Assist with production shoots as needed, from gathering supplies and props to printing out scripts and procuring wardrobe items.
  • Stay current on creative trends, entertainment, sports culture, and brand storytelling across industries.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or related field.
  • Creative portfolio required, showcasing original thinking, campaign development, and integrated activations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and bring ideas from concept through execution.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on creative mindset.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with the football calendar.
