Problem solving groups can be a great addition to any setting.

The department of mathematics has an official Problem Solving Group, and they were one of the five featured in a Mathematical Association of America Focus Article.

“These problem solving groups represent five thriving communities that share a deep love and passion for solving problems and bring together students and faculty,” authors Bonnie Ponce and Erica Whitaker wrote. “Their organization, meeting formats, and approaches differ widely, but they all expressed similar goals of enjoyment of doing mathematics together.”
