How to volunteer
Your help is needed to make this event a great success!
We are looking for people with an interest in world cultures to help chaperone the event (guide small groups of children from one country to the next throughout the fair), as well as people with knowledge of other alphabets to help children write their names in various languages. Volunteers are also needed to work the country booths (leading the activities at each booth).
If interested, please contact Dr. Heidi Backes (hbackes@missouristate.edu) and let her know which time slot(s) you would prefer:
- 8:30-9:50
- 10:00-11:20
- 12:00-1:20
- 1:30-2:50
Your help gives children the opportunity to see the world — right here in Springfield!
