Multiple paid internship opportunities are available for each student in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at Missouri State University. Our students perform internships with companies in the aerospace, automotive, equipment and defense sectors of the economy, to name just a few. Recent students have completed internships with SRC, the Paul Mueller Company, Dolby Laboratories, and Boeing.
These students gain hands on experience as they work in these technical enterprises. Mechanical Engineering Technology internships are well paid, and many of these internships lead to full time positions after graduation. Job titles held by our students during these internships include Design Engineer Intern, Product Engineer Intern, Quality Engineer Intern, and Production Planner Intern.
The real world experience that our students gain in these internships gives them an advantage in the classroom, and a head start as they begin their professional careers.
