The Reynolds College of Arts and Letters at Missouri State University is now accepting student applications for the 2023 Missouri Fine Arts Academy set for June 4-17!
The Missouri Fine Arts Academy (MFAA) is a two-week summer residential program for highly motivated student artists in visual arts, theatre, dance, creative writing, and music. The Academy offers an intensive schedule of classes in interdisciplinary and discipline-specific arts, and a wide range of co-curricular activities.
The theme for 2023 is “Elevate.”
“We’ve imagined, we’ve created, we’ve innovated. Now we’re ready to continue to rise and establish a place and space here for artists who want to perfect their craft,” said MFAA Director Stephen Spates.
MFAA is off to a great start for the 2023 season with full funding provided by the state. Spates explained that every student who is accepted to the academy will be financially supported, removing a lot of barriers for applicants.
The student application period currently runs through January 31, 2023.
