Music professor and cellist Michael A. Murray will be joined by three alumni Friday, Sept. 5, in a concert to be held at 4 p.m. in the Missouri State University Ellis Recital Hall. Pianist Robert Carney, an assistant professor at Southwest Baptist, violinist Aleksis Zarins, a local freelancer, and violinist Christopher Kelts, an orchestra conductor at Washburn University, will perform together with Murray two piano quartet masterworks of Mozart and Dvorak. The recital, coinciding with the opening festivities for the Ozark Celebration Festival as well as First Friday Art Walk, is free and open to the public.
