Bands Alive! 2015 still accepting students for summer camp

drumsThis year’s Bands Alive! summer camp has something for grades 6-12 and their band directors as Missouri State’s Pride Band program prepares for the early July event.

Bands Alive! provides opportunities for students to develop skills as musicians and leaders under the direction of music educators throughout the Midwest.

Registration is still open for the July 6-9 event. Visit the website for registration details.

About the 2015 program

Concert Band Camp

Band music in the concert setting for middle school and high school students
Dates: July 6-9
Cost: $325 per student (includes room, meals, activities and camp/performance shirt)

Leadership Camp

Leadership methods for high school drum majors, section leaders and color guard captains
Dates: July 7-9
Cost: $275 per student (includes room, meals, activities and camp/performance shirt)

Spin Camp

Marching specialties for high school students in flag, rifle, sabre, exercise and marching basics
Dates: July 7-9
Cost: $275 per student (includes room, meals, activities and camp/performance shirt)
