After a highly selective process, Missouri State University’s Chorale has been asked to participate in the 2015 Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. The 17-day festival will begin May 22 and feature more than 500 performing, visual arts and literary events.

Spotlight Concert Series

Chorale was chosen to perform in the festival’s Spotlight Concert Series, which showcases virtuoso chamber music performers, ensembles and professional choral groups at paid-admission evening and matinee performances. Typically, less than 20 groups are selected to participate in the series after a discerning review process.

About Chorale

Chorale is the flagship touring choir of Missouri State’s department of music. This select choir of approximately 48 voices performs regularly at conferences of the American Choral Directors Association, Missouri Music Educators Association, and the National Association for Music Education and has toured throughout the United States and Europe. Chorale will be on tour in South Carolina throughout May 2015.
