Missouri State band students will perform in a series of free concerts at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts in the coming weeks, wrapping up the University’s fall semester.
Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony Concert
Nov. 21, 7:30 p.m.
The University Wind Ensemble and University Wind Symphony will present their fall concert. Membership to the University Wind Ensemble is extended only by audition to the most advanced musicians. The band has a tradition of musical excellence and is committed to playing the finest new works along with the traditional masterpieces from the past. The event is free and open to the public. Jazz Bands Concert
Nov. 24, 7:30 p.m.
Missouri State’s Jazz and Stage bands will perform in a free event that is also open to the public. These bands maintain an active performance calendar, hosting guest artists and participating in major festivals and conventions such as the Midwest Clinic, Mexico Invitational Jazz Festival, Disney World Showcase of Jazz at EPCOT and Missouri Music Educator’s Convention. ‘Sounds of Christmas’ Concert

The Missouri State Pride Bands‘ annual holiday concert will feature a variety of musical ensembles, dance groups and the entire marching band, combining to present an exciting introduction to the Christmas season.
