Dr. Daniel Hellman, associate professor and coordinator of music education in Missouri State’s music department, has been elected to a six-year term on the editorial review board of the Journal of Music Teacher Education, a peer-reviewed journal sponsored by NAfME, the National Association for Music Education (formerly MENC), and SMTE, the Society for Music Teacher Education. Dr. Hellman is published in several music education research journals and a frequent presenter at music education conferences, mostly recently in July, at the biennial International Society for Music Education Conference in Brazil.
