President’s concert features Guy Webb’s last performance

The President’s Concert will be held Sunday, May 4, at 4 p.m. at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.

The annual Masterworks concert tradition continues with the popular and well-received choral masterpiece “A German Requiem” by Johannes Brahms.

The concert features the Missouri State University Combined Choirs, under the direction of Dr. Guy Webb – with guest soloists Carol Chapman, soprano and Chris Thompson, baritone  – and the MSU Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Robert Quebbeman.

The music departments welcomes students, alumni, faculty, and staff to come out and see Dr. Guy Webb’s last performance. The event is free and open to the public.
