The Missouri State University summer choir will present the Durufle “Requiem” at 7 p.m. July 23 at Grace United Methodist Church, 600 S. Jefferson Ave. Under the direction of Dr. Guy Webb, professor of music, the choir will be accompanied by Vicky Claborn on the organ.
The 30-voice choir, composed of students and community members, will also perform a collection of lighter songs by Symko, MacGillivray and Alice Parker, and will end with “Methodist Pie,” an Ozark Folk Song.
