Music students receive significant awards for graduate school

Three Missouri State music students from the trumpet studio of Dr. Grant Peters have received noteworthy offers to graduate programs across the country. Jazz Fest final registration Feb. 6

School bands and ensembles interested participating in Missouri State's 2015 Jazz Festival have until Feb. 6 to register. Divisions include Big Band, 2nd Bands, Jr Hi/Mid School Bands, and Combos, and groups can register as competitive or non-competitive. Slots are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Jazz group to perform at music educators conference

Missouri State’s Jazz Studies Ensemble I has been chosen to perform at the Missouri Music Educators Association 2015 conference, to be held Jan. 30 at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Lake of the Ozarks.
